Inside Russia & Eurasia On-Line offers readers a continuously updated overview of important developments in Russia and Eurasia. It is based on a daily inflow of information from all parts of the region, analysed by experts with long experience. As well as reporting internal developments, it deals extensively with constituent countries' external relations, including with the European Union and NATO.

Its reports are distinguished by their
• clarity of style
• economy of words
• independence of judgement
• originality of interpretation.

They particularly address the needs of two different kinds of client.

For time-pressed officials and executives they offer an authoritative, quickly read overview of events, including facts and ideas liable to have escaped them in the regular reporting of the media and other sources.

For researchers and writers they offer a limitless fund of clearly sourced material, based on archives extending backwards to 1993, and links to related matter in other publications and web sites.

There are four kinds of input:

• Reports investigate and analyse immediate events.

• Chronologies combine a list of important events in Russia and Eurasia with a guide to related articles in the international press.

• Reviews spot fresh ideas in research papers, books and specialised journals.

• Fact files on countries and regional organisations contain essential names and statistics, and summarise historical developments.
